and crashed into light pole. in word on any injuries and not clear if any passengers were open board at the time but all kansas city buses had to stop service yesterday because of the ice and snow. the service has resumed this morning. the storm that bought all the winter weather to kansas city and the great plains is hitting chicago. here is video from this morning a winter weather advisory is in affect in chicago until 3:00 p.m. today. >> a top boeing official will present the f.a.a. today with a list potential fixes to the battery problems that grounded the boeing 787 dreamliner. the solutions are designed to let the planes resume flying while they look for the cause of fires in two of the batteries. the fixes include wide are spacing between the cells inside the battery, a fireproof battery case and vents that route flammable gases outside the flame and the f.a.a. will not rule on that today.

>> more than 900 people have died in mass shootings during the past seven years according to a new analysis from "usa today" the paper reports that 934 people have lost their lives since 2006 in the united states. this includes 146 different mass shootings. the deaths only account for less than 1 percent of all gun-related homicides. mass shootings are defined as incidents where four are more people were killed. >> terrorism,ent nothing, white collar cram and now sexting to the list of investigations keeping the f.b.i. busy. cnn reports that the f.b.i. now is cracking down on sexting among their employees, the assistant director admits there are cases of employees using government-issued smartphones to send racy text and nude photos and a memo is going around reminding employees their phones are for official use only. >> google's latest is now on the

announced that oscar pistorius would be granted bail. ma -- what is happening now is the dollar amount. no indication of what that will be. we know oscar pistorius is worth about $630,000 a year he mays and he has mutt pill properties. that will factor in to how much bail he is let out on but he could walk out of the courthouse in the next 30 minutes or so. you are looking live outside the courthouse. a man is holding a sign, possibly in support of oscar pistorius. a lot people, his family is very excited for this news. his girlfriend, reeva steenkamp's family will not be happy with what has happened and the judge talked if more than two hours about case before deciding to grant oscar pistorius bail saying he has no evidence that oscar pistorius is a flight risk or evidence he has

a propensity if violence and no evidence he will interfere with witnesses. he is still charged with premeditated murder in the debt of his girlfriend, that happened at his home on valentine's day. he claims it was an accident and he thought there was an intruder in the bathroom and the prosecution says the couple were fighting for an hour before the shooting and oscar pistorius intended to kill his girlfriend, reeva steenkamp. we expect in 30 minutes or so, oscar pistorius will walk out of the courtroom. we waiting to find out how much he has to put up to post the bail. back here the bay area woman who became famous for lying about fining a finger inside a couple of chili from when -- wendy's is in the news. what did anna ayala do?

>> a different hoax this time. rather than a finger, it involved an ankle. she has a new booking photo, take a look at anna ayala arrested yesterday for charges of accessory to a felony and filing a false police report. the first time she was in trouble was back in 2005 and we have video. at that time she said she found a human finger in a couple of chili she ordered at wendy's and she planted the finger in hopes of suing wendy's and the finger belonged to an acquaintance who lost it in an accident. it cost when difficult's millions in lost sales. now the country issues. police say her son accidentally shot himself in the ankle in front of their san jose home. he is on parole and not allowed to have a gun. investigators say ayala cooked up a story and told police her son was shot and she gave detailed descriptions. men who shot him.

investigators did digging and figured out it was a lay and ayala had gotten rid of the gun which is tampering so they arrested her. she is back in jail. her bail is $150,000 and she is due in court today. >> it is 6:36, and an oakland father is headed to las vegas to bring his son's body back home after being killed in a drive-by shooting on the strip. oakland rapper known as kenny clip died of gunshot wounds yesterday morning. the 27-year-old was driving his months -- mazurati when he and a friend came under fire. his has rate went through the intersection and stuck several other cars including a taxi and the cab driver and the passenger were killed when the tax caught fire and exploded. >> this is something you never really, really ever want do experience as a parent to lose a

sue? >> light if you are driving from hayward to san mateo on the bridge you can see the tail lights from the flat section headed to the san mateo side of things westbound, moving nicely with no delays either direction between the peninsula and the east bay good news if you are in the san jose area capital expressway, the early accident involving a bus has been cleared totally out of the lanes and it is get by just fine and no problems with mass transit a great way to go. >> crews are trying to figure what caused a crane to collapse under the bridge, we flew over the scene moments after the accident and you can see the twisted metal from the crane. despite the dam, no one was injured. crews removed steel support from under the bridge east of the island. the bridge was not damaged. the accident is not expected to delay the opening of the new eastern span which now is 193 days away.
